What to do if you are not able to do a factory wipe on your smartphone? Not able to factory reset your phone? Have you lost your smartphone's recovery image?Not able to load recovery on Celkon, Micromax, Zen, Lava, Xolo smartphone? Are you not able to access your phone's recovery partition? Dont worry, here is an easy way to solve this issue
This is what you need in the first place
- Rooted Android smartphone - In this case an MTK version (Mediatek)
- The respective drivers for your phone
- MTK Droid tools - Download here
- The original stock ROM - For the boot image (Look for this link for ROM specific to your system)
- Mobile Uncle tool app from playstore

So I have a Celkon Signature HD A119Q smartphone, so the process described here is for the same.
1. Look for the boot image from the stock/ Original ROM

2. Go to your smartphone settings and enable the Android debugging option
3. Open MTK Droid tools
4. Once you connect the phone, you will see the above settings enabled

5. Click on 'root, backup, recovery'. Now click on 'Recovery and boot'. You will see an option where in you will be asked to load the boot image. Go to the respective folder and load the boot.

6. It will automatically create the recovery for you

7. Once the recovery is made, go to the folder (as shown below) and of t he two images created, select the one with 'recovery' and copy paste it to the root of your SD
8. Now install Mobile Uncle tool on your smartphone and open 'Flash recovery from SD'. Once you open it, you will see your Recovery which you just copy pasted. Click on the same - OK- Wait! The phone will reboot and you will see the recovery menu!
