How to update Blackberry OS when App loader shows an older version

2 issues. One, you use desktop software to update and it says "An error has occurred while downloading software for your device. Please verify your Internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists" or your using the apploader doesn't show the newer downloaded version of the OS. What to do in this case? The answer is simple.

Internet connection error while updating Blackberry OS
Don't use the desktop software to update your OS. If its opened, close it and disconnect your blackberry. Go to C drive then Prpgram files(86) to Common files to Research In Motion to App loader. You would have already deleted the Vendor.xml file. And now you are facing an issue even after removing the Vendor.xml file. The problem is, there is a dummy vendor.xml file that's luring somewhere in the system. All you need to do is just search for this file and delete it off! Once deleted, re run App loader, connect Blackberry and Update! All done!
