There are 3 ways to do it

a. Through 139 service

b. Through 5676714 service

c. Using your BSNL phone

1. 139 SMS booking:

• GO to IRCTC and register your mobile number
• Generate a One Time Password (OTP) via your bank
• Now the SMS format
• BOOK <TrainNo><FromStn.Code><ToStn.Code> <TravelDate (DDMM)><Class><Passenger-Name><Age><M/F> ...... Send this message to 139
• Once you get the transaction ID, you need to make the payment
• Payment method: PAY <Transaction ID <IMPS><MMID (provided by bank><OTP><IRCTCUserID>
• Now the costs
• SMS charge: Rs 3/ SMS
• Charges - Booking amount between 0 and 5000 - 5 Rupees; 5000 and above - 10 Rupees
