On the 3rd of July 2013, mmxnewscaster came up with the news that they have rolled out the 4.2 update on Micromax Canvas HD smartphone. The update is available OTA (Over The Air), which includes a lot of additions like semi transparent notification panel.

A news on the softpedia said that the company conforms a 4.3 update for the Micromax Canvas HD smartphone in the fourth quarter of 2013 (Oct-Dec). The news is as follows "The phone maker has confirmed that at least five of its smartphones will be updated to the new platform release, including the recently launched Canvas 4, which will receive it first, a post on technosamigos reads"
