Android 4.3 Jelly bean update - Better Batter, Better camera, Better User Interface? A review

How good is the Android 4.3 update? Does a 4.3 Jelly bean update improve the battery life and the camera picture quality? Has there been any change in the user interface? What does the Android version 4.3 has to offer?

The version was release almost a week ago, on the 25th of July 2013. Sadly, there is no improvement added to the battery or Camera. But there has been a few improvements from the 4.2 Jelly bean versions, a few of them are mentioned here

1. Restricted profiles: Ok. So what is this 'big update' all about? This update is meant for users having an Android. With this update, multiple users can use a single tablet and restrict the use of their apps, folders etc; just for themselves. The biggest advantage of this update would be the fact that this kind of works as a parental lock for kids who cant live without their parent's tablet! ;)

2. Bluetooth smart support: A nutshell - This update now allows you to connect to the latest new generation accessories running with Bluetooth sync that basically runs with the help of Bluetooth smart.

3. Open GL ES 3.0: Accelerated Graphics: This update gives a better graphic support on your Android device. An update like this is surely going to help the gamers out there!

4. An auto complete dial pad: Now to make a call all you have to do is touch the numbers or letters on the dial and the rest, your Andi will Auto complete.. How to - Go to settings and then enable the 'Dial pad auto complete' option.

Verdict:

The update is currently being rolled out for Nexus devices and hopefully the other devices will soon get the update. To be frank, this is not a great update. For people who are using Custom ROMS, they are kind of miles ahead from these updates. But for people who don't want their devices to be rooted, step by step updates like this will be a boon. All the best!
